Developed from the CL-601 Challenger business jet, the Canadair Regional Jet first flew in 1991.  Although originally known as the Canadair Regional Jet, this aircraft has more recently been renamed the Bombardier CRJ.

Total CRJ sales are over 500 aircraft.
