Aeronca C-2 Scout

photo: Paul Shanaberger

The Aeronca C-2 Sport was based on the 1925 Roche-Dohse Flying Flivver and first flew in 1929.  This was the first Aeronca production aircraft.  The "Flying Bathtub" was inexpensive which helped sales during the early years of the great depression.

Over 160 C-2s were built.
