Gulfstream
            is a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics.  The company
            produces a family of well-respected corporate aircraft.
            History
            1978: Grumman
            Aerospace sells it's Gulfstream (Grumman-American Division)
            operations to American Jet Industries (AJI) who renames the company Gulfstream
            American.
            1980: Gulfstream American purchases Rockwell's
            General Aviation Division to continue building Rockwell's Aero
            Commander.
            1985: Company is purchased by Chrysler as Gulfstream
            Aerospace.
            1988: Gulfstream sells the Commander
            single-engine product line to Commander Aircraft.
            1999: Gulfstream Aerospace is acquired by General
            Dynamics.
