The
HD.1 was Hanriot's first design with the prototype flying in
1916. A compact and capable aircraft, it had the misfortune of
being introduced about the same time as the more powerful SPAD
VII. Not ordered in quantity by the French, the HD.1 was
purchased by the Belgian and Italian air forces.
Total production exceeded 1,000. |
