History
1930-31: Belford D. Maule builds his first
aircraft, the M-1, a mid-wing monoplane
1940: Mechanical Products Company is
formed to produce a light plane starter.
1941: The B.D. Maule Company is
formed to build a light aircraft steerable tailwheel
1962: After developing the M-4 Bee Dee STOL
aircraft, the company changes its name to Maule Aircraft
Corporation.
1984: Company is renamed Maule Air, Inc.
