The
Staudacher family of Kawkawlin, Michigan is famous for it hydroplane
racers. Because of their experience with high performance
wooden hydroplane racers, Staudacher Hydroplanes was approached in
the late 1980s to combine wood/carbon fiber composites to existing
wing spars. Staudacher Aircraft Inc. was formed to
develop this technology. |
