The
Glasair debuted in 1980 and was the first premolded composite
kit aircraft. The first Glasair was a tail dragger. The
Glasair RG (retractable tricycle) was introduced in 1983 and Glasair
FT (fixed tricycle) in 1984. Improved models include the
Glasair II and Glasair III.
